LA CITTA'
Sanremo è la capitale della Riviera dei fiori. Apprezzata fin dal 1800 per il fattore climatico, non è altrettanto conosciuta per le bellezze artistiche che possiede. Eppure la città di Sanremo ha scorci stupendi e nell'insieme architettonico, paesaggistico è un vero gioiello dell'Italia, un lembo di terra con le radici protratte fino in Francia.
Nell'antichità era chiamata Matuzia in ricordo della casa patrizia di Caio Matuzio costruita a ovest dell'odierno centro cittadino e secondo una credenza popolare in omaggio alla Dea Matuzia divinità del mare e dell'aurora. Principi leggendari, personaggi insigni della cultura, della scienza e dell'industria mondiale hanno soggiornato a Sanremo affascinati dal mare azzurro e dal profumo intenso dei fiori.
Visitare Sanremo
Sanremo si trova in un'ampia insenatura della Riviera Ligure, tra Capo Nero e Capo Verde. Città da sfogliare, ove gli estremi si toccano, nella parte più antica è nota come la Pigna, con le case arroccate è uno scorcio di Medioevo, con le stradine ripide, i passaggi coperti e le piccole piazze.
La città moderna invece trasforma in pochi anni il borgo di pescatori in un elegante centro turistico di fama mondiale. Sanremo è oggi una città che accoglie visitatori e turisti in ogni periodo dell'anno e li intrattiene con manifestazioni e infinite possibilità di divertimento. DIE STADT
Sanremo ist die Hauptstadt der Blumen Riviera. Seit den 1800er Jahren für den Klimafaktor geschätzt. Es ist leider nicht so bekannt für die künstlerischen Schönheiten die Sanremo zu bieten hat. In den mittelalterlichen Zeiten hieß es "Matuzia" zur Erinnerung an das Patrizierhaus von Caio Matuzio. Es wurde im Westen der heutigen Innenstadt gebaut und ist nach einem populären Glauben zur Erinnerung an die Göttin Matuzia des Meeres und der Morgendämmerung. Legendäre Prinzen, berühmte Charaktere der Kultur, der Wissenschaft und der Weltindustrie haben sich in Sanremo aufgehalten. Sie waren alle fasziniert von den blauen Meer und dem intensiven Aroma der Blumen.
Sanremo besichtigen

THE CITY
Sanremo is the capital of the Flower Riviera. Appreciated since the 1800's for the wonderful climate, unfortunately it is not well known for the artistic beauty it actually has. Yet the city of Sanremo has gorgeous views, and in the architectural landscape it is a real jewel of Italian flair with roots extending to France.In ancient times it was called Matuzia in memory of the patrician house of Caio Matuzio built to the west of today's city center and according to a popular belief in tribute to the goddess Matuzia, the goddess of the sea and the dawn. Legendary prince, famous people of culture, of science and of the world industry have stayed in Sanremo, fascinated by the blue sea and the aroma of flowers.

Sanremo is located in a large creek of the Ligurian Riviera, between Cape Nero and Cape Verde. Sanremo è una città che merita di essere vissuta e scoperta, a cominciare dal suo centro storico conosciuto come La Pigna, il quartiere medioevale fatto di case lungo ripide, stradine e piazzette.
La Pigna è formata da vecchi tetti grigi, rossi e coppi che si affacciano su terazzi in fiore, vicoli, piazzette, carrugi,su fontane in pietra, tabernacoli, su ripide scalinate che s'insinuano sotto gli archi. Che mantengono vivi i segni del passato medievale della città.
THE OLD TOWN
Sanremo is a city that deserves to be lived and discovered, starting with the old town known as La Pigna, full of steep houses, narrow streets and many squares.
The Pigna has old gray, red and clad roofs with overgrown terraces of flowers, alleys, squares, stone fountains, tavern and steep staircases which strike under the arches. Which keeps alive the marks of the middle age of the city.
DIE ALTSTADT
Die Altstadt Sanremos verdient es entdeckt zu werden. Sie ist bekannt als La Pigna, dass mittelalterliche Viertel aus steilen Häusern, engen Gassen und Marktplätzen.Unter anderem besteht die Pigna aus alten grauen und roten Dachziegeln. Diese findet man auf bewachsenen Terrassen, Gassen, Steinbrunnen, Tavernen und auf steilen Treppen. Sie halten die Markierungen der mittelalterlichen Vergangenheit der Stadt am Leben.
BUSSANA VECCHIA
IL PAESE DEGLI ARTISTI - Una frazione collinare del Comune di Sanremo. Il violento terremoto del 23 febbraio 1887 semidistrusse il paese, tanto da venire completamente evacuata dagli abitanti che si spostarono circa tre chilometri più a valle fondando il paese di Bussana Nuova.
Totalmente abbandonata per decenni, ha ricominciato ad essere abitata dal finire degli anni cinquanta da artisti italiani e stranieri, attratti dalla particolarità del luogo, che ristrutturarono e resero nuovamente abitabili gli edifici meno danneggiati.
OLD BUSSANA
THE COUNTRY OF ARTISTS - A hilly part of the City of Sanremo. The violent earthquake on the 23rd of February, 1887 destroyed the village, which had to be completely evacuated, the inhabitants moved about three kilometers away in the village of Bussana Nuova. (New Bussana).
Old Bussana was completely abandoned for decades, but it has been inhabited again since the late 1950s by Italian and foreign artists, attracted by the beauty of the place, which restored the least damaged buildings.
ALTSTADT BUSSANADAS
LAND DER KÜNSTLER - Ein hügeliger Teil der Stadt Sanremo. Das heftige Erdbeben vom 23. Februar 1887, zerstörte das Dorf. Die Altstadt musste evakuiert werden. Die Bewohner waren gezwungen in Bussana Nuova umzuziehen. Bussana Nuova bedeutet "Neue Bussana" und befindet sich etwa drei Kilometer von der Altstadt entfernt.Die Altstadt war seit Jahrzehnten völlig verlassen und wurde nach den späten 1950er Jahren von italienischen und ausländischen Künstlern wieder aufgebaut und bewohnt. Sie fühlten sich angezogen von der Besonderheit des Ortes und haben die am wenigsten beschädigten Gebäuden restauriert.

MONTE CARLO
Die Stadt Montecarlo ist bekannt für ihr Casino, Strände, Wolkenkratzer, Mode, Grand Prix und wurde als Residenz von mehreren berühmten Menschen gewählt. Es ist etwa 40 km von Sanremo entfernt.
ARMA DI TAGGIA
Arma di Taggia ist ein schönes Touristenzentrum, dass ca. 10 km von Sanremo entfernt liegt. Es gibt eine wunderschöne Spaziermöglichkeit entlang der Strände und dem Zentrum des Dorfes.
IMPERIA
Imperia ist die Provinzhauptstadt und ist ca. 20 km von Sanremo entfernt. Es gibt dort viele Ausstellungen und Museen zu besuchen.

Arma di Taggia è un grazioso centro turistico che dista a circa 10 km da Sanremo. Vi è una meravigliosa passeggiata che costeggia le spiagge e il centro del paese.
IMPERIA
Imperia è il capoluogo di provincia e dista circa 20 Km da Sanremo. Molteplici sono le manifestazioni e i musei da poter visitare.

The city of Montecarlo is known for its casino, beaches, skyscrapers, fashion, Grand Prix, which takes place in the city streets and has been chosen as a residence for several famous people. It is about 40 km from Sanremo.
ARMA DI TAGGIA
Arma di Taggia is a small tourist town, about 10 km from Sanremo and has a wonderful walk along the beaches and the center of the village.
IMPERIA
Imperia is the provincial capital and is about 20 km from Sanremo. There are many exhibitions and museums to visit in Imperia.
